 For those who are unaware, what is NEET? What is this blog about? 

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. 


It is one of the most prestigious exams every medical aspirant needs to clear to get a gateway ticket to becoming their dream doctor. So what is the big deal about it?


 Nearly lakhs and lakhs of students are writing the exams, and the numbers are skyrocketing yearly. 

In 2023, the no.of NEET aspirants were 20.3 lakhs (20.3 million) 

 In 2024, it increased to 23.8 lakhs( 23.8 million). 


But only 55,000 government medical seats are there all over India. So that makes the acceptance percentage just 2% into government medical colleges. With a narrow margin, millions of people have the hope of becoming a doctor. So you can imagine the gravitas of the situation, how willing the students must be to sacrifice their 11th and 12th standard education years to battle through the sea to reach the shore. As a NEET Aspirant myself, I can assure you that it is not easy, it is a grueling, grueling journey. As the saying goes “No Pain, No Gain”. You have to suffer like anything and work without looking at the clock. 


So what is this blog about now that you know what NEET is about? I wish to educate, guide, and share with all the future NEET aspirants the valuable experiences I have gained by preparing for my NEET exam from 2022 to 2024. This blog series will be an eye-opener for many.

Anguish🥲, Despair😫, Insecure🫡, Cheated🤡. Life of an 2024 NEET aspirant😭

  From feeling proud and esteemed about taking the NEET exam in 2024 & becoming a doctor in the future to feeling cheated of our hard work, in despair, and insecurity about what will happen to our future based on the decision by the Supreme Court on 8th July.  What mistake did the students make to deserve this much heartbreak, this education system and the extreme level of corruption have made a joke out of the lives of hundreds of thousands of NEET aspirants. Their only dream was to get an MBBS admission into a government medical college through merit.
